Exchanging stories and knowledge
Exploring the surrounding wilderness with care and respect
Everything is facilitated by us, and tasks are designed to feel enjoyable and natural, not burdensome. Many guests tell us the experience creates a strong sense of connection, calm, and bonding.

Bathroom arrangements depend on the campsite and trip format.
Guests are always briefed clearly, and dignity, hygiene, and discretion are treated with care.
In more remote settings, bathroom use may follow simple wilderness etiquette and guided best practices.A member of the Wilderfolks team will always scout the area (For first timers and inexperienced campers) and select a suitable area for campers to use the bathroom.
In general, it would involve digging a suitably large hole, squatting for business, wipe/wash using toilet roll/ water from a bucket carried, cover the hole before planting a stick to let others know that the spot has been used.
We follow the buddy system to keep everyone safe and comfortable during the journey.
Wildlife may approach when one is crouched/squatted, and the buddy system ensures that an eye is kept so that campers can relieve themselves in comfort and peace.Bathroom spots will always be chosen away from camp, and away from the water bodies that will be used for washing, bathing, and swimming.
